Andharban Trek is one of the most beautiful & fascinating monsoon trek. We will be passing through dense forest walking on the valley edges running parallel to the famous Tamhini ghat. Evergreen forest covers you with shade throughout the trek.  The same valley where is the origin of the Kundalika river famous for its white water river rafting.

Monsoon Trek to Prabalgad

Prabalgad (also known as Muranjan, Pradhangad or Prabalmachi) is located between Matheran and Panvel and comes under the Raigad District in the state of Maharashtra, India.The Prabalgad Fort stands at an elevation of 2300 feet in the Western Ghats. The fort has a Ganesh temple and some unidentified stone ruins. Right next to Prabalgad to its north, lies the steep Kalavantin fort.

Bhandardara Fireflies Camping

Surrounded by the lush mountains of Sahyadri ranges, Arthur lake is a quaint little pool that gets its water from the Pravara river. It is a serene place to unwind and soak in the natural beauty

This breath-taking show put on by nature resembles a psychedelic combination of stars falling and fireworks exploding It is an immersive experience you will never forget.

The fireflies do not always flash in unison. They may flash in waves across hillsides, and at other times will flash randomly. Synchrony occurs in short bursts that end with abrupt periods of darkness.

Prabalmachi Fireflies Camping

Prabalmachi is the base village to two of the most popular trekking destinations around Mumbai. It is an ideal place for camping with breathtaking views of the Panvel region and the majestic Kalavantin and Prabalgad.

Kalavantin Fort built at the peak of a rocky plateau is situated between Matheran and Panvel in the Western Ghats. The fort top commands an excellent view of the surroundings with Prabal in the front. Kalavantin Fort is an adjoining hill (pinnacle) to Prabalgad.

Our campsite, Prabalmachi village, is located at a height of 1500ft from sea level on the Prabal plateau, a part of Western Ghats.

Velas has been attracting nature lovers and travellers more for its Velas turtle festival, Maharashtra than anything else. Hundreds of Olive Ridley Turtles, one of the most treasured species of marine turtles, come ashore at Velas beach for breeding and lay hundreds of eggs

Sondai Fort Night Trek

Sondai is one of the lesser know forts around Mumbai. It was used as a watch tower and stands 6kms west of Karjat overlooking the Karjat-Chowk highway and offers a beautiful view of Morbe Dam, Prabalgad, Irshalgad, Rajmachi, Songiri forts and Matheran mountain range.

The name of the fort is derived from the temple of the Goddess Sondai at the top the mountain. There are 2 water cisterns at the base of the pinnacle and steps are carved out of rocks to go on the topmost point where an idol of Sondai Devi stands.

It is an easy 1-1.5 hrs hike from the base village and ideal for beginners or those who are trekking after a long time
