Velas a coastal village which falls in the Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra. The place is well known for its beaches. Besides Velas beach, here are several other tourist attractions at Velas including the Bankot Fort and the Harihareshwar Temple

Velas has been attracting nature lovers and travellers more for its Velas turtle festival, Maharashtra than anything else. Hundreds of Olive Ridley Turtles, one of the most treasured species of marine turtles, come ashore at Velas beach for breeding and lay hundreds of eggs

Tour Plan
Day 0 - Friday
- 21:00 hrs – Pick up from SGNP, Borivali
- 21:30 hrs – Pick up from metro station bus stop, Andheri.
- 22:00 hrs – Pick up from Sion
- 22:15 hrs – Pick up from Chembur
- 22:45 hrs – Pick up from Vashi Highway
Day 1 - Saturday
- 06:00 hrs – Reach Velas eco-village
- 06:30 hrs – Freshen up and get ready to visit the beach for the first sightings. Post sighting a brief about Olive Ridley turtles
- 08:30 hrs – Back to the village for Breakfast & tea
- 10:00 hrs – Leave for Bankot fort, it gives you mesmerizing views of the velas bech and harihareshwar temple
- 13:00 hrs – Return to the village and have lunch
- 17:00 hrs – We will visit the beach for more sighitings of Olive Ridley turtles
- 18:30 hrs – After the sightings head back to out homestay
- 20:30 hrs – Have dinner and stroll around the village
- 22:30 hrs – Day Ends!
Day 2 - Sunday
- 06:00 hrs – Wake up call
- 06:30 hrs – Visit the beach for the last sighting
- 08:00 hrs – Back to the village for Breakfast & tea
- 10:00 hrs – We will leave for harihareshwar beach, the journey includes an exciting ride in the ferry
- 11:30 hrs – Visit the temple and soak in some Vitamin D at the beach
- 12:30 hrs – Have Lunch, we will start our return journey after lunch
- 20:00 hrs – Reach Mumbai. Say your goodbyes with a promise to meet again. This brings us to the end of our trip, Or rather just the beginning.

- Cancellation charge of 15% would be deducted from the booking if cancelled 3 days before the event.
- No refund would be granted if cancelled within 3 days of the event.
- No refund (Partial or otherwise) will be made if you voluntarily leave or drop out of a trip for any reason after the trip has begun. No refunds will be made for any accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, meals or services not utilized.

One day prior to event, we will send you an "event headsup" email with further details, instructions, event coordinator contact details, etc. Along with these, it will also consist the event specific Whatsapp group invite link. Can I come alone?
Yes, many of our participants are solo travellers.
Is it safe for a female solo traveller?
It is completely safe for a female solo traveller as our representatives will be there with you all the time. Moreover, most of our event have 60% female participation.
Would I get cellular connectivity?
Yes, you will get cellular connectivity at velas
What type of food will I get?
We will be having breakfast (Veg/Jain), Lunch (Veg/Jain) & Dinner (Veg/Jain/Non-Veg) at our Homestay.
