Tour Plan
Day 1
Morning
- Check in at the desert camp at Khuri Desert camps.
- Relax and unwind at the camp.
Evening
- Enjoy a camel ride across the sand dunes at sunset.
- Immerse in a traditional Rajasthani cultural program with folk music and dance.
Night
- Dinner at camp. Orientation: Basics of night sky, constellations & telescope viewing.
- Western Astronomy and Discoveries: Engage in an insightful session on the evolution of astronomy and significant scientific milestones.
- Guided stargazing: Planets: Observe planets (Jupiter, Saturn), prominent constellations, and selected deep-sky objects through high-quality telescopes, guided by expert astronomers.
- Astrophotography session: Learn the fundamentals of night photography and capture mesmerizing star trails in the pristine desert skies.
Day 2
Morning
- Breakfast at camp.
- Optional excursion to Kuldhara Village (Half Day).
- Return to camp by lunch.
Evening
- Workshop session: Sunspots Observations: Observe sunspots and solar features using safe, specialized solar filters, guided by our astronomy experts.
- Hands-on activity: Understand how to read and navigate star maps to identify constellations and celestial objects.
- Evening : Sunset tea/coffee.
Night –
- Light dinner early, so guests are free for late-night observation.
- Introduction to Indian Astronomy: Explore concepts of Rashi, Nakshatras, cosmic timelines, and mythological interpretations rooted in ancient Indian sky tradition.
- Laser-guided sky tour: Identify major constellations and learn the stories behind them through an engaging laser-guided session.
- Telescope observation: View nebulae, star clusters, and distant galaxies through advanced telescopes in dark desert skies.
- Astrophotography :Learn techniques to capture the Milky Way, deep-sky objects, and creative long-exposure night shots.
Day 3 - Farewell from the Desert
- Witness a breathtaking sunrise over the golden sand dunes.
- Enjoy breakfast at the camp.

- All confirmations are subject to availability at the time of booking
- Certain conditions like road conditions, weather, and participants' health may cause Itinerary changes. So, the Itinerary can be reshuffled by the local handler if needed.
- Full payment is to be paid before the trip starts, pending payment may result in the cancellation of the booking
- Any inclusion not availed by the customer will not be refunded under any circumstances
- We are not liable for any delay and change in program, expenses incurred due to weather conditions, sickness, landslides, accidents, machinery & equipment failure, and so on
- Check in time: 2 pm & Checkout time : 10 am
- Since stargazing is weather-dependent, we cannot guarantee clear skies. In case of clouds or rain, the experience will still go ahead with alternate astronomy activities, but refunds won’t be possible.
- Please note that no-shows, cancellations after booking, or last-minute changes are also non-refundable.”

Cancellation Policy
- Initial booking amount is non - refundable.
- 50% of the total amount will be given as refund for cancellation made 30 days before start of the trip.
- 25% of the total amount will be given as refund for cancellation made 15-30 days before start of the trip.
- No refund will be given for cancellation made 0-15 days before start of the trip.
- 100% refund will be given if trip is cancelled by the operator
