Can I join the Egypt trip as a solo traveler?
- Absolutely! Many of our participants are solo travelers. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to meet like-minded adventurers and make new friends throughout the journey.
Is this trip suitable and safe for female solo travelers?
- Yes, it’s completely safe. Our experienced representatives will be with you throughout the trip, and over half of our participants are female travelers.
How will I be contacted after booking?
- Once you register, we’ll send detailed trip information by email. A WhatsApp group for your batch will be created about two weeks before departure for coordination, updates, and to help you connect with fellow travelers.
What does the Egypt trip package include?

What currency is used in Egypt, and can I use cards?
- The Egyptian Pound (EGP) is the local currency. Major cards are accepted in cities, but it’s best to carry some cash for markets and smaller towns.
Where can I get a local SIM card?
- A local SIM card with limited data is included in the package and will be provided upon arrival.
What is the weather like in Egypt during the tour season?
- Egypt is generally warm and dry. October–April is the preferred time for travel with pleasant temperatures for sightseeing and outdoor activities.
What should I pack?
- A recommended packing list will be shared after registration, including lightweight clothing, sun protection, identity documents, power adapters, and comfortable shoes for walking.
What language is spoken in Egypt? Will language be a barrier?
- Arabic is the official language. English is commonly spoken in tourist spots, hotels, and by guides, so communication will not be a problem.
Is travel insurance required?
- While not included, travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover potential emergencies, cancellations, or lost belongings.
Are there any special health or vaccination requirements?
- No special vaccinations are required for Egypt, but you should be up to date with routine vaccines. Carry your basic medications and ask your doctor for advice if traveling with specific medical needs.
Are there any age or fitness restrictions?
- The trip is designed for those with a moderate level of fitness, as sightseeing may include walking on uneven ground and some early starts. There’s no strict age bar, but travelers should be comfortable with the itinerary’s pace.
Can I request a single room?
- Yes, single room options may be available at an extra cost. Please mention your preference during booking to confirm availability.
What if the tour gets cancelled or I can't travel due to unforeseen events?
- In the event of cancellations due to natural calamities, political issues, or any other uncontrollable circumstances, refunds will be processed as per the applicable refund policy. Wandering Souls will inform affected travelers regarding alternative arrangements or rescheduling.

- The remaining amount has to be paid 2 weeks before the trip start date
Disclaimer
- Any additional expenses arising from unforeseen circumstances, such as cancellations, roadblocks, landslides, strikes, or other natural causes beyond human control, as well as any emergency evacuation costs, will be borne by the travelers.
- In the event of a cancellation due to circumstances beyond control (e.g., natural calamities, riots, political uncertainty, public transport failures), refunds will be issued according to the applicable refund policy.
- Wandering Souls will not be responsible for any losses incurred for bookings or arrangements (train, air, bus, taxi, hotel, or camp extensions) made independently by clients/participants.
Cancellation Policy
- If cancellation is done by the participant prior to 45 days of the event, 10% of the advance amount will be deducted.
- If cancellation is done by the participant prior to 30 days of the event, 50% of the advance amount will be deducted.
- If cancellation is done by the participant prior to 15 days of the event, 100% of the advance amount will be deducted.
- If cancellation is done by the participant within 15 days of the event, 100% of the whole trip amount will be deducted.
