Timed with the annual Turtle Festival, this ride gives you a rare chance to witness Olive Ridley turtle hatchlings make their first journey to the sea, a moment that is as humbling as it is unforgettable.

Velas a coastal village which falls in the Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra. The place is well known for its beaches. Besides Velas beach, here are several other tourist attractions at Velas including the Bankot Fort and the Harihareshwar Temple
Turtle Festival:
Velas has been attracting nature lovers and travellers more for its Velas turtle festival, Maharashtra than anything else. Hundreds of Olive Ridley Turtles, one of the most treasured species of marine turtles, come ashore at Velas beach for breeding and lay hundreds of eggs

- Early morning highway ride via Panvel – Pen – Mangaon.
- 08:15 AM – Breakfast Stop - Mangaon
- Breakfast break: 45 minutes
- 09:00 AM – Ride Towards Mhasala
- Mangaon → Mhasala → Harihareshwar
- Distance: 65 km
- Ride Time: 1 hr 45 min – 2 hr

Things to Carry
- Identity Proof (Mandatory)
- Helmet + riding jacket/ elbow guards + gloves any other riding gears you have. Absolutely mandatory. If found not compliant rider will be asked to return. without refund.
- Valid Driving license
- Legal papers of bike.
- Helmet / Gloves / Knee Pad / Elbow Pad.
- Bottle of Water (at least a liter)
- Ready to eat food like plum cakes, dry fruits etc.
- Face Mask & Sanitizer
- Cap, Camera
- Torch
- Personal care stuff, ORS, medicines which you require usually
Disclaimer
- Rider not following rules or regulations can and will be asked to return back home by the ride leader.
- Basic Washroom facility available at the campsite, it is outdoor experiential activity and not a leisure trip so one needs to prepare themselves accordingly
- Please avoid wearing Gold and other jewellery
- A planned activity or programs may be cancelled or revised depending on the weather or any other unavoidable circumstances
- We require at least 6 participants to conduct the event. In an unlikely case where we don’t get the requisite number of participants, you have an option for FULL Refund or shifting to any other event.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation charge of 15% would be deducted from the booking if cancelled 2 days before the event
- No refund would be granted if cancelled within 2 days of the event.
- No refund (Partial or otherwise) will be made if you voluntarily leave or drop out of a trip for any reason after the trip has begun. No refunds will be made for any accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, meals or services not utilized.
