Coorg is often referred to as the Scotland of India. It is one of the most accessible and popular hill stations in South India. Located amidst paradisiacal surroundings, it offers endless opportunities for tourists to get closer to nature and its wonders

Besides natural beauty, the region is also a renowned cultural hub. Coorg is home to Bylakuppe, India’s second-largest Tibetan settlement.

Itinerary

Day 1Leave for Mangalore| Overnight Train Journey

Meet team Wandering Souls and your fellow travellers at LTT and start your journey at 11.40am towards Mangalore. You can board the train from Thane & Panvel as well

Day 2Abbey Falls, Mandalpatti Peak, Coffee Plantation| Overnight at Coorg

Early morning 4.30 reach Mangalore station and start your journey towards Coorg immediately (3-4hrs), en route have breakfast. Check-in to the property and Freshen up. Get ready for days sightseeing to Abbey falls, Coffee plantation tour and Mandalpatti peak using jeep. After sunset at Mandalpatti, Back at the stay.

Bonfire, dinner. Rest

Day 3Dubare Elepahant Camp, Monastery & Local Market | Overnight at Coorg

Wake up and get ready amazing day. Have breakfast and leave for dubare elephant camps, where you can experience elephant bathing and rides. Those who want can also indulge in River Rafting on Barapole River near the elephant camp. Post that leave for the famous Namdroling Buddhist monastery aka golden temple. Back by late evening and visit Raja’s Seat. Time at local market will be given to experience world famous coffee and spices. Bonfire, dinner, rest.

Day 4 Journey Back| Overnight Journey to Mumbai

Check out by 8.30am and immediately leave for mangalore station. En route breakfast and reach there by 1.30pm. Train starts at 2.15pm.

Day 5Reach Mumbai

We will reach Mumbai in the Morning. The Train reaches Panvel by 5:00am, Thane by 6:00am & LTT by 6:35am

Disclaimer

If participant seeks cancellation due to natural calamities or any due to military or governmental decisions no refund shall be paid.
 
If in case Wandering Souls cancels the tour due to unfavourable conditions of travel then whatever best possible refund we get from vendors if we ever get can be processed, in case we do not get any refunds from Hotel/Transportation we won’t be in a position to process any refunds.
 
In case of cancellation of any event due to reasons beyond control (like Natural calamities, riots, political uncertainty, public transport failure etc.), refund shall be payable with respect to the given refund norms.
 
Wandering Souls will not be responsible for any losses incurred for any train/air/bus/taxi bookings, hotel bookings or extension to the camp done by clients/participants

What is the stay like?

We will be staying on Triple sharing basis.
A Male will be sharing room with another Male. Female will share with female.

How will you contact me once I register?

We will be mailing you the details once you register. We will also create a WhatsApp group a week before the trip

What is the age group for this trip?

The age group for this trip is 18-40

Can I come alone?

Yes, many who come on our trips are solo travellers.

Is it safe for a female solo traveller?

It is completely safe for a female solo traveller as our representatives will be there with you all the time. Moreover, most of our event have 60% female participation.

Would I get cellular connectivity?

You will get intermittent cellular connectivity in Coorg

What type of food will I get?

We will be having our Breakfast an Dinner at our Hotel/Outside Restaurant. For lunch we will be exploring restaurants and cafes of the coorg who serve different cuisines.

What if I have a medical emergency?

We will carry first aid kit with us. The coordinators will be first aid certified. If the problem increases, we will quickly get you to closest medical attention possible.

What kind of clothing we need to wear?

Comfortable clothing and raincoats/umbrella. A detailed list will be send upon booking

What is the group size?

The group size will be between 4 – 15 Trippers
