About Fireflies:
Fireflies or lightning bugs make light within their bodies. This process is called bioluminescence. Fireflies light up to attract a mate. This breath-taking show put on by nature resembles a psychedelic combination of stars falling and fireworks exploding It is an immersive experience you will never forget.
The fireflies do not always flash in unison. They may flash in waves across hillsides, and at other times will flash randomly. Synchrony occurs in short bursts that end with abrupt periods of darkness.

Please Note:
- Bioluminescence by Fireflies is a natural phenomenon. The trip dates have been planned as per the mating season of fireflies i.e pre-monsoon during which we witness this phenomenon. We may or may not get to witness it. Wandering Souls won’t be held responsible for low or no sightings.

Tour Plan
Day 1
- 10:16 am – Start by Kasara local starting from CST at 10:16AM. Get into the local from your respective stations.
- 12:30 pm – Reach Kasara Railway Station.
- We then move towards our campsite and stop at a Dhaba on the way to have lunch(at own expense)
- 5:00 pm - Reach bhandardara campsite, have snacks followed by a brief introduction and get ready for some fun and games
- 7:00 pm - Prepare for a night under the sky, let the Arijit Singh in you come out, play a few games, share stories, make new friends
- Have delicious dinner under billions of stars.
- Post dinner go for a walk to spot fireflies.
- Off to the tents for a sound sleep (For those who are very sleepy). Day Ends
Day 2
- 07:00 – Wake up call, enjoy a beautiful sunrise
- Have Breakfast & Tea
- Take in your beautiful surroundings and then pack up your belongings
- 10:30 am - Say your goodbyes with a promise to meet again, leave for Kasara in our Transport. This brings us to the end of our trip, Or rather just the beginning.
- 1:00 pm - Reach Kasara Railway station and catch Local to CSMT

- We will be mailing you the details a day or two before the event.
Can I come alone?
- Yes, many of our participants are solo travellers.
Is it safe for a female solo traveller?
- It is completely safe for a female solo traveller as our representatives will be there with you all the time. Moreover, most of our events have 60% female participation.
What are the train timings for Bhandardara Camping?
- Train Timings are as follows
- 10:16 am: CSMT
- 10:23 am: Byculla
- 10:29 am: Dadar
- 10:36 am: Kurla
- 10:40 am: Ghatkopar
- 10:53 am: Mulund
- 10:57 am: Thane
- 11:13 am: Dombivali
- 11:21 am: Kalyan
- 12:34 pm: Kasara
You can catch the train from your respective stations. *If you miss the train you miss the trip!
Are washrooms available at the bhandardara campsite?
- Yes, Indian and western washrooms are available at the campsite.
Would I get cellular connectivity at Bhandardara?
- There will be low or no connectivity at the campsite
What if I have a medical emergency?
- We will carry first aid kit with us. The coordinators will be first aid certified. If the problem increases, we will quickly get you to closest medical attention possible.
What type of food will I get at the Bhandardara trip?
- We will be having Evening Snacks, Dinner & Breakfast at Campsite. For Lunches we will stop at a Dhaba on the way

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation charge of 15% would be deducted from the booking if cancelled 2 days before the event
- No refund would be granted if cancelled within 2 days of the event.
- No refund (Partial or otherwise) will be made if you voluntarily leave or drop out of a trip for any reason after the trip has begun. No refunds will be made for any accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, meals or services not utilized.
