Besides natural beauty, the region is also a renowned cultural hub. Coorg is home to Bylakuppe, India’s second-largest Tibetan settlement.

Tour Plan
Day 1 - Leave for Mangalore | Overnight Train Journey
- Meet team Wandering Souls and your fellow travelers at LTT
- start your journey at 11.40 am towards Mangalore(Mangalore Express - 12133).
- You can also board the train from Thane at 12;02 pm & Panvel at 12:45 pm
- Kick-start the trip with fun ice-breakers, lots of laughter, and the first of many memories we'll make together.
Day 2 - Abbey Falls - Mandalpatti - Raja’s Seat | Overnight at Coorg
- 5:00 AM: Arrive at Mangalore Railway Station and begin a scenic 3–4 hour drive to Coorg, with a breakfast stop en route.
- Reach your homestay, settle in, freshen up, and prepare for an exciting day ahead.
- Visit the beautiful Abbey Falls, nestled amidst Coorg's lush coffee plantations and verdant landscapes.
- Embark on an exhilarating off-road jeep ride to Mandalpatti Peak and soak in breathtaking panoramic views of the Western Ghats.
- Explore Raja's Seat, a historic viewpoint renowned for its stunning sunset vistas and royal charm.
- Return to the homestay, relax, and unwind after a day filled with adventure and sightseeing.

Day 3 - Namdroling Monastery, Dubare Elephant Camp, Chiklihole Dam & Nisargdhama | Overnight at Coorg
- Wake up, freshen up, and enjoy breakfast at the homestay.
- Visit Dubare Elephant Camp and experience close encounters with elephants amidst the scenic Kaveri River surroundings.
- Head to Chiklihole Dam, a peaceful reservoir offering beautiful views and a tranquil atmosphere.
- Explore the Namdroling Monastery (Golden Temple), known for its stunning Tibetan architecture and serene ambiance.
- Visit Nisargadhama (optional, if time permits), a picturesque river island surrounded by lush greenery and bamboo groves.
- Return to the homestay for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Day 4 - Omkareshwar Temple, Madikeri Fort , Coffee Plantation | Overnight Journey to Mumbai
- Enjoy breakfast, check out from the homestay, and begin the day's sightseeing.
- Visit Omkareshwar Temple, a historic landmark known for its unique blend of Islamic and Gothic architectural styles.
- Explore Coorg's famous coffee plantations and learn about the journey from bean to brew.
- Visit Madikeri Fort (time permitting) and discover its rich history while enjoying panoramic views of the town.
- Depart for Mangalore Railway Station and board your train for the return journey.

FAQs
How will you contact me once I register?
We will send a an instructions mail once you register. A week before the trip we will be creating a whatsapp group and also have a Group call.
Can I come alone?
Yes, many of our participants are solo travellers.
Is it safe for a female solo traveller?
It is completely safe for a female solo traveller as our representatives will be there with you all the time. Moreover, most of our events have 60% female participation.
What is the stay like at Coorg?
We will be staying on Triple/Quad sharing basis. A Male will be sharing room with another Male. Female will share with female. You can opt for Double sharing by paying extra
Would I get cellular connectivity in Coorg?
You will get intermittent cellular connectivity in Coorg
What type of food will I get?
We will be having our Breakfast an Dinner at our Hotel/Outside Restaurant. For lunch we will be exploring restaurants and cafes of the Coorg who serve different cuisines.
What kind of clothing we need to wear?
Comfortable clothing and raincoats/umbrella. A detailed list will be send upon booking
What is the group size?
The group size will be between 6 – 15 Trippers
Disclaimer
- If participant seeks cancellation due to natural calamities or any due to military or governmental decisions no refund shall be paid.
- If in case Wandering Souls cancels the tour due to unfavourable conditions of travel then whatever best possible refund we get from vendors if we ever get can be processed, in case we do not get any refunds from Hotel/Transportation we won’t be in a position to process any refunds.
- In case of cancellation of any event due to reasons beyond control (like Natural calamities, riots, political uncertainty, public transport failure etc.), refund shall be payable with respect to the given refund norms.
- Wandering Souls will not be responsible for any losses incurred for any train/air/bus/taxi bookings, hotel bookings or extension to the camp done by clients/participants
- We require atleast 6 participants to conduct the event. In an unlikely case where we don’t get the requisite number of participants, you have an option for FULL Refund or shifting to any other event.
Cancellations & Refunds
- No refund (Partial or otherwise) will be made if you voluntarily leave or drop out of a trip for any reason after the trip has begun.
- No refunds will be made for any accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, meals or services not utilized.
- If cancellation done by participant prior to 15 days of the trip start date 90% of total price will be refunded
- If cancellation done by participant prior to 7 days of the trip start date 50% of total price will be refunded
- If cancellation done by participant prior to 3 days of the trip start date 25% of total price will be refunded
- No refund would be granted if cancelled within 3 days of the trip start date
