An ideal world, made of flowing streams, majestic mountains and green trees. A valley with stars, under the dark skies. The light, the sun, filtered by clouds, sliding over the looming mountains. Wandering souls will help you experience all this and a lot more.

Himachal literally translates to “the land of snow”. It is blessed with scenic beauty, serene landscape and intricate chain of mountain ranges. Situated in the western Himalaya, it has several hill stations and is a truly a backpacker’s paradise. On our trip we try to cover the prominent places of ‘Adventure hub’ Kullu Valley, ‘Hippie capital’ Parvati Valley and ‘Offbeat’ Tirthan Valley. We will be visiting gorgeous town along the Beas River – Manali, famous cafés of Old Manali, thrilling snow-filled Solang Valley, ‘Mini Israel of India’ Kasol on the banks on the soothing Parvati river, mesmerizing hidden ‘hamlet’ and a major attraction of our trip – Jibhi, most scenic Jalori pass, the astonishing Serolsar Lake and much more.

This backpacking trip will bring to you the raw beauty of Himachal Pradesh where we will wander through the mountain roads, click photos at numerous ‘insta’-worthy spots, chill by and dip our feet in rivers, satiate the adventure junkie in us, meet amazing new people, try delicious food, take long walks in nature, lie down under billion stars and spot shooting stars, have long conversations, play fun games and really live each & every moment.

Itinerary

Day 1Report at Delhi | Overnight Journey to Manali

 Meet the Wandering Souls Team and other fellowe travellers at Majnu ka Tilla by 7pm. Overnight Journey to Manali

Day 2Manali Local | Overnight at Manali

We will reach Manali in Morning, we check into our hotel upon reaching Manali, freshen up have breakfast. After breakfast leave to explore Manali, we will visit “HADIMBA TEMPLE” Built in 1553 with a superbly crafted four-tiered pagoda roof, it is famous for its exquisitely carved doorway.  Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar, and “VASHIST” Well known for its hot springs. There are old temples dedicated to the sage Vashisth and to Lord Rama. We will also visit various cafes of Manali and spend time at Mall road. Overnight at Manali

Day 3Solang Valley | Overnight at Manali

This day after breakfast proceed towards Solang valley. Solang Valley in Manali is located at a distance of 13 kms in a side valley at the top of the Kullu valley is a splendid valley between Solang village and Beas Kund. It offers the view of glaciers and snow-capped mountains and peaks. Skiing and Paragliding are two main activities organized here. Apart from this many other adventure sports are available like Zorbing, Horse riding & Snow Motor Bikes riding etc. If “Time Permits” we will visit Atal Tunnel. Overnight at Manali

Day 4Manali-Naggar-Kasol | Overnight at Kasol

We checkout from our Hotel in Manali and head towards the backpackers paradise “Kasol”. On our way to Kasol we will visit Naggar Castle built in around 1460 A.D. Upon reaching Kasol, we take a small hike towards the quaint Chalal Villageand explore kasol on foot, visit some famous cafes & eateries and spend some quite time besides the river. We will visit the kasol market where you can buy souvenirs for your friends & family. Overnight at Kasol.

Day 5Kasol – Jibhi, Jibhi Local | Overnight at Jibhi

After Breakfast, we checkout from our Hotel and visit Manikaran – famous for hot sulphur springs and revered by both Hindus and Sikhs pilgrims. Thousand, of pilgrims take dip in holy water. The water of the spring is also said to have curative value which cures many skin diseases. We then head towards Jibhi and if time permits visit a nearby waterfall. Overnight at Jibhi.

Day 6Jalori Pass and Serloskar Lake | Overnight Jibhi

Start your day with scrumptious breakfast and head towards the Jalori pass to start your trek to Serloskar lake on the way enjoy the stunning view of Himalayas and capture the beauty in your heart then start your trek to Serloskar Lake through the deep green meadows crossing oak forests. Later return back to your hotel and enjoy your evening with a bonfire and mouth-watering food and have a peaceful sleep.

Day 7Jibhi Local | Overnight journey to Delhi

After breakfast, We will check out form our hotel. Start a short nature walk towards Jibhi waterfall, Then start your trail towards Chenhi Kothi and capture the enchanting beauty for a lifetime. Later in the evening we say goodbye to the mountains and start our journey towards Delhi.

Day 8Reach Delhi

We will reach Delhi in the morning by around 9am. Preferably book flights or Trains after 1.00pm to take into account any delays. This brings us to the end of our escapade to the mountains.

Disclaimer

Flight costs are to be considered fully non-refundable i.e the difference between the Regular & Super Saver cost

If participant seeks cancellation due to natural calamities or any due to military or governmental decisions no refund shall be paid.
 
If in case Wandering Souls cancels the tour due to unfavourable conditions of travel then whatever best possible refund we get from vendors if we ever get can be processed, in case we do not get any refunds from Hotel/Transportation we won’t be in a position to process any refunds.
 
In case of cancellation of any event due to reasons beyond control (like Natural calamities, riots, political uncertainty, public transport failure etc.), refund shall be payable with respect to the given refund norms.
 
Wandering Souls will not be responsible for any losses incurred for any train/air/bus/taxi bookings, hotel bookings or extension to the camp done by clients/participants
 
FAQs

What is the stay like?

We will be staying in Hotels and homestays on double sharing basis.
A Male will be sharing room with another Male. Female will share with female.
Couples will get a separate room.

In a scenario where we have odd number of male/female trippers, only one room will be converted to triple sharing.

How will you contact me once I register?

We will be mailing you the details once you register. We will also create a WhatsApp group a week before the trip

What is the age group for this trip?

The age group for this trip is 18-35

Can I come alone?

Yes, many who come on our trips are solo travellers.

Is it safe for a female solo traveller?

It is completely safe for a female solo traveller as our representatives will be there with you all the time. Moreover, most of our event have 60% female participation.

Would I get cellular connectivity?

You will get intermittent cellular connectivity in Himachal Pradesh

What type of food will I get?

We will be having our Breakfast  & Dinner at our Hotel. For lunch  we will be exploring restaurants and cafes of the region.

What if I have a medical emergency?

We will carry first aid kit with us. The coordinators will be first aid certified. If the problem increases, we will quickly get you to closest medical attention possible.

What kind of clothing we need to wear?

October marks the beginning of winter in Himachal. Please pack ample cold clothing. A detailed list will be sent from us once you register

What is the group size?

The group size will be between 4 – 15 Trippers
