Jodhpur,”Blue City”, is the second largest city in Rajasthan. The name is clearly befitting as most of the architecture – forts, palaces, temples, havelis and even houses are built in vivid shades of blue. It is also famous for imposing fortress of Mehrangarh has a landscape dominating a rocky ridge with the eight gates leading out of the fortress. You can also try ziplining here to enjoy the best view of Mehrangarh and the Blue City.
Jaisalmer,” Golden City” is a city situated on the edges of the Thar Desert. It’s an exceptional sandstone city that rises from the sand dunes. The dominating feature of Jaisalmer is the Jaisalmer Fort, also known as Sonar Qila, which is still an inhabited space.
The above mentioned places open out a handful of the many secrets this state hides. “This Incredible State of India” is quite possibly the most historic and cultural state in India.
